FORT PIERCE —
A team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation will arrive Nov. 19 to examine all aspects of the Fort Pierce Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services.
Fort Pierce Police Department has to comply with approximately 260 standards to receive accredited status.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency members and the general public are invited to offer comments to the assessment team. A copy of the standards is available through Michelle Sirois, Fort Pierce Police Department’s accreditation manager, at 772-467-6806.
