Maryanne Logsdon narrowly missed a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists Wednesday, leading Fort Pierce Central High School’s girls basketball team past Martin County 69-36 in Stuart.

Denvia Morgan added a game-high 22 points and four steals for Fort Pierce Central (1-0, 1-0 District 8-9A).

Meg Murray scored 13 points and KeArra Smith had 11 for Martin County (1-3, 0-1), which lost its third consecutive game.

Fort Pierce Central plays at 6 p.m. Friday at Treasure Coast.

St. Lucie West Centennial 53, Vero Beach 41: Lindsey O’Sullivan finished with four 3-point goals, 21 points, five rebounds, three steals and three blocks as the Eagles handed the Fighting Indians their first loss.

Raquel Tolbert had 12 points, four assists and four steals for Centennial (2-3, 1-0 District 8-9A), which led 28-21 at halftime.

Chayse McGirt scored 14 points and Kirstin Foncham had 14 for Vero Beach (4-1, 0-1).

The Fighting Indians won their first four games by an average of just under 20 points.

Centennial plays Friday at Martin County.

Lincoln Park Academy 67, Port St. Lucie 18: Deborah Reese had her second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Greyhounds to a District 15-6A win at Fort Pierce.

Leroyeisha Thomas had 17 points, six assists and three steals for Lincoln Park (5-1, 1-0 district), which led 32-12 at halftime.

Tristann Gordon finished with 12 points and four steals, Christen McCann had 10 points and three assists, and Kayla McIntosh had three steals.

Destiny Davis scored six points for Port St. Lucie (1-3, 0-1).

Holy Trinity Episcopal 50, Sebastian River 42: Kate Starkey scored a game-high 17 points as the Tigers won in Melbourne.

Destiny Moore had 12 points and seven rebounds for Holy Trinity Episcopal (1-3).

Sebastian River hosts Okeechobee on Friday.

Jupiter 60, South Fork 34: The Warriors improved to 5-1. The Bulldogs are 0-6.

Okeechobee 58, DeSoto County 25 (Tuesday): The Brahmans (4-1) outscored the Bulldogs 24-5 in the second half for a win at Arcadia.

Boys basketball

South Fork 77, St. Lucie West Centennial 63: Nochley Rene had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Bulldogs won at Tropical Farms.

Caleb Edwards also had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and three dunks for South Fork (2-1).

Jean Mervil scored 15 points.

Elijah Phillips and Najee Leon scored 10 points apiece for St. Lucie West Centennial (2-1).

South Fork hosts Port St. Lucie at 7 p.m. Friday.

Okeechobee 81, Glades Day 44: Jquan Ferrol and Jamal Davis had double-doubles to keep the Brahmans undefeated this season.

Ferrol had 21 points and 14 rebounds while Davis finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds for Okeechobee (4-0), which led 54-23 at halftime.

Malcolm Chambers had five 3-point goals and finished with 20 points.

Jacob Camacho scored 20 points and AJ McPhee had 19 for Glades Day (1-3).

Okeechobee plays Friday against Centennial.

Fort Pierce Central 63, Palm Bay 51: Dylon Torello had 18 points and six rebounds as the Cobras won their second game in a row.

Darvion Blackshear scored 18 points for Fort Pierce Central (2-1). Michael Compton added 12.

The Cobras made all 12 free throws and are shooting 85 percent from the line through three games.

Fort Pierce Central hosts Vero Beach on Tuesday.

Suncoast 56, Port St. Lucie 43: Danile King had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds in the Jaguars’ District 15-6A loss at Riviera Beach.

Tyler Hedrick added 10 points for Port St. Lucie (1-2, 0-1 district).

Suncoast is 2-0, 1-0.

Trinity Christian 62, Pine School 46 (Tuesday): Aytor Alberto scored 24 points as the Warriors won at Hobe Sound.

Trinity Christian is 3-2. Pine School is 0-3.

Covenant Christian 59, Community Christian 35 (Tuesday): The Cougars lost a District 6-2A game at Palm Bay to fall to 1-2 overall, 1-2 district.
