ICE Names New S. Florida Chief

The agency announced recently that Alysa D. Erichs is the new special agent in charge of the Miami-based office. Erichs had been the acting chief. The office’s jurisdiction runs from Key West to Fort Pierce and it has 450 employees.

Erichs was previously a deputy special agent in charge of the Miami office and was acting chief of the Dallas office as well.

Erichs replaces Anthony Mangione, who is facing a May trial on child pornography charges. Mangione retired from ICE shortly after he was charged. He has pleaded not guilty.
