Riley Miller went 17-for-34 with 231 yards passing and three touchdowns in the Vero Beach flag football team’s commanding 25-0 win over South Fork to open its season Monday on the road.

Lauren Paluzzi had three receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown, while Maggie Callahan had seven receptions and one touchdown.

Addie Teske had three receptions for 15 yards and one touchdown.

Alanna Liebman had three flag pulls and one interception for a touchdown, and Laiya Miller had eight flag pulls for a loss.

Vero Beach heads to Tallahassee this weekend to participate in the Capital City Classic Tournament.

Fort Pierce Central 27, St. Lucie West Centennial 0: Erin Smith threw for 192 yards and four touchdowns in Fort Pierce Central’s (1-1) road win over Centennial (0-1).

In the second quarter, Centennial stopped Central on a drive that began deep in Centennial’s territory to end the half.

However, Central had a burst of offense in the second half, led behind Rachel Dockeray-Innis, who finished the game with four receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns.

Susanna Berntheizel had three receptions for 40 yards and one touchdown, and Sara Coniglio had six flags, two tackles for a loss and two sacks.

Fort Pierce Central will host South Fork at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Fort Pierce Westwood 7, Port St. Lucie 6: Martha Lewis had 156 yards rushing and 35 passing in a closely contested road win. Lewis also had an 18-yard rushing touchdown and extra-point conversion.

Bam Joseph also had four catches for 30 yards.

Martin County 25, Lake Worth 0: Elizabeth Moberg threw a pair of touchdown passes, one from 10 yards out and one from 15.

Nautica Hill had a 30-yard interception return for a touchdown, and Lizzy Spears had a 65-yard touchdown run.

Martin County will play Wednesday at Treasure Coast.
